EasyRGB - Privacy Statement

We are committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. We've designed our web site so that you can usually visit it without identifying yourself or revealing any personal information. We are providing this Privacy Statement to make you aware of our privacy policy, practices and of the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.

Your IP address:
An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you are surfing the Web. Our server automatically identify your computer by its IP address.
We collect IP addresses for the purposes of system administration, to audit the use of our sites and to report statistics to our advertisers and investors.
We do not systematically link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable, we use it during sessions but the user remains anonymous to us. We can and will use IP addresses to identify a user only in order to protect our server, data, service, sites, customers or others.

Our cookies:
What are cookies? Cookies are small text files that a Web site transfers to your hard drive for record-keeping purposes. Cookies should make Web-surfing easier for you by saving your preferences while you're at our sites. At the EasyRGB site we have two primary uses for cookies:

  1. We use cookies to transfer color data from page to page. This way you don't have to insert the same color data (for example R, G and B values ) over and over again in different EasyRGB pages (Calculator, commercial tints and harmonies).
  2. We use cookies to track trends and patterns. By showing how and when guests use a site, cookies help us see which areas are popular and which are not. We use the information from cookies to provide services better tailored to our users needs.
  3. We use a cookie to store your monitor calibration data.

While all of these activities depend on the use of a cookie, site visitors always have the option of disabling cookies via their browser preferences. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to notify when a cookie is being sent. You can also delete the files that contains cookies.
In any case, denial of a cookie does not prevent you from using the EasyRGB site.

Advertising cookies:

We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our website. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. In particular the DoubleClick DART cookie is used by Google in the ads served on pages displaying AdSense for content ads. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.
